١٧٤٨٩ - حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ، حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، قَالَ: وَحَدَّثَ مُطَرِّفٌ، عَنْ عِيَاضِ بْنِ حِمَارٍ، أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَرَأَيْتَ الرَّجُلَ يَشْتُمُنِي وَهُوَ أَنْقَصُ مِنِّي نَسَبًا؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
«الْمُسْتَبَّانِ شَيْطَانَانِ، يَتَهَاتَرَانِ وَيَتَكَاذَبَانِ»
