«"كيف عَقلُه، هل به " " قالوا: لا والله، وأحسَنُوا عليه الثناءَ في عقلِه ودينهِ، وأتاه الرابعةَ فسألهم عنه، فقالوا له مثلَ ذلك، فأمَرَهم فَحَفَرُوا له حفرةً إلى صَدرِه ثم رَجَموه (٢) .»
