حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيٌّ، نَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيِّبِ،
«أَنَّ عُمَرَ، وَعُثْمَانَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا، كَانَا يَفْعَلَانِ ذَلِكَ يَعْنِي يَسْتَلْقِيَانَ، وَيَنْصِبَانِ إِحْدَى أَرْجُلِهِمَا عَلَى الْأُخْرَى»
