٩٦٩ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو (٣) مُعَاوِيَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: سُئِلَ عَنِ الْوَتْرِ، أَوَاجِبٌ هُوَ قَالَ:
«أَمَّا كَالْفَرِيضَةِ فَلَا، وَلَكِنَّهَا سُنَّةٌ صَنَعَهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَصْحَابُهُ حَتَّى مَضَوْا عَلَى ذَلِكَ»
