٤٠٨٦ - حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورٌ، وَسُلَيْمَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ رَجُلٌ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَنُؤَاخَذُ بِمَا عَمِلْنَا فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ؟ قَالَ:

«إِنْ أَحْسَنْتَ، لَمْ تُؤَاخَذْ، وَإِنْ أَسَأْتَ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ، أُخِذْتَ بِالْأَوَّلِ وَالْآخِرِ»
