٢٦٤٩ - حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو جَمْرَةَ، قَالَ: كُنْتُ أَدْفَعُ النَّاسَ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، فَاحْتَبَسْتُ أَيَّامًا، فَقَالَ: مَا حَبَسَكَ؟ قُلْتُ: الْحُمَّى. قَالَ: إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:
«إِنَّ الْحُمَّى مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ، فَأَبْرِدُوهَا بِمَاءِ زَمْزَمَ»
