٢٢٨٥٤ - حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عُمَرَ، عَنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ سَهْلٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَسْتَنِدُ إِلَى جِذْعٍ فَقَالَ:

«قَدْ كَثُرَ النَّاسُ وَلَوْ كَانَ لِي شَيْءٌ، يَعْنِي: أَقْعُدُ عَلَيْهِ،»
The Prophet ﷺ · narrated from him by أبوه

قَالَ عَبَّاسٌ: فَذَهَبَ أَبِي فَقَطَعَ عِيدَانَ الْمِنْبَرِ مِنَ الْغَابَةِ قَالَ: فَمَا أَدْرِي عَمِلَهَا أَبِي أَوْ اسْتَعْمَلَهَا (١) ؟
