١٩٩١٩ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ عِصَامٍ، أَنَّ شَيْخًا حَدَّثَهُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَصْرَةِ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُئِلَ عَنِ الشَّفْعِ، وَالْوَتْرِ فَقَالَ:
«هِيَ الصَّلَاةُ: بَعْضُهَا شَفْعٌ، وَبَعْضُهَا وَتْرٌ»
