حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ: ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ الشَّهِيدِ، عَنِ ابْنِ (٦٠) طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ عُمَرُ:
«إنَّا لَا نُحِلُّ أنْ نُسْأَلَ عَمَّا لَمْ يَكُنْ، فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ بَيَّنَ مَا هُوَ كَائِنٌ" .»
