١٩٠٧٨ - حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، مَوْلَى الْهُذَلِيِّينَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَحْشٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، مَاذَا لِي إِنْ قَاتَلْتُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ حَتَّى أُقْتَلَ؟ قَالَ: " الْجَنَّةُ " . قَالَ: فَلَمَّا وَلَّى قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِلَّا الدَّيْنَ سَارَّنِي بِهِ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ " (٢)
