Abu Dawud al-Sijistani

«كَانَ يَسْكُتُ سَكْتَتَيْنِ إِذَا اسْتَفْتَحَ، وَإِذَا فَرَغَ مِنَ الْقِرَاءَةِ كُلِّهَا»

Its text does not say these are the Prophet’s words ﷺ, so they are not framed in gold.

٧٧٨ - حَدَّثَنَا ‌أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ خَلَّادٍ، نَا ‌خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ ‌أَشْعَثَ ، عَنِ ‌الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ ‌سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَنَّهُ «كَانَ يَسْكُتُ سَكْتَتَيْنِ إِذَا اسْتَفْتَحَ، وَإِذَا فَرَغَ مِنَ الْقِرَاءَةِ كُلِّهَا» ، فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَى يُونُسَ.
