Sharh Maani al-Athar 206

Abu Jafar al-Tahawi

«قَالَ: «رَجَعَ الْقُرْآنُ إِلَى الْغسْلِ وَقَرَأَ» {وَأَرْجُلَكُمْ} [المائدة: ٦] «وَنَصَبَهَا» .»

Its text does not say these are the Prophet’s words ﷺ, so they are not framed in gold.

حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ، قَالَ: ثنا يَعْقُوبُ، قَالَ: ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، قَالَ: «رَجَعَ الْقُرْآنُ إِلَى الْغسْلِ وَقَرَأَ» {وَأَرْجُلَكُمْ} [المائدة: ٦] «وَنَصَبَهَا» .
