Musnad al-Muwatta of al-Jawhari 50

Abu al-Qasim al-Jawhari

«يُقَالُ «يُقْتَدَى مِنْ قَوْلِ الْعَالِمِ مَا لا يُقْتَدَى مِنْ فِعْلِهِ» .»

Its text does not say these are the Prophet’s words ﷺ, so they are not framed in gold.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو طَالِبٍ عُمَرُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ الْخَشَّابُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سَلْمٌ الْخَوَّاصُ، يُقَالُ «يُقْتَدَى مِنْ قَوْلِ الْعَالِمِ مَا لا يُقْتَدَى مِنْ فِعْلِهِ» .
