Musnad al-Muwatta of al-Jawhari 40

Abu al-Qasim al-Jawhari

«قَالَ: وَأَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي خَيْثَمَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ يَحْيَى بْنَ مَعِينٍ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ «مَنْ نَحْنُ عِنْدَ مَالِكٍ! إِنَّمَا كُنَّا نَتَّبِعُ آثَارَ مَالِكٍ وَنَنْظُرُ الشَّيْخَ إِنْ كَانَ مَالِكٌ كَتَبَ عَنْهُ وَإِلا تَرَكْنَاهُ»»

Its text does not say these are the Prophet’s words ﷺ, so they are not framed in gold.
