Abu al-Qasim al-Jawhari

«يَقُولُ: قَالَ سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ «رَحِمَ اللَّهُ مَالِكًا، مَا كَانَ أَشَدَّ انْتِقَادِ مَالِكٍ للرِّجَالِ»»

Its text does not say these are the Prophet’s words ﷺ, so they are not framed in gold.

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ هِشَامُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي خَلِيفَةَ الرُّعَيْنِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بِشْرٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنَ إِسْحَاقَ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ عَلِيَّ بْنَ الْمَدِينِيِّ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ «رَحِمَ اللَّهُ مَالِكًا، مَا كَانَ أَشَدَّ انْتِقَادِ مَالِكٍ للرِّجَالِ»
