Ali ibn al-Jad

«يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ: «بَابٌ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ يَحْفَظُهُ الرَّجُلُ لِصَلَاحِ نَفْسِهِ، وَصَلَاحِ مَنْ بَعْدَهُ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ عِبَادَةِ حَوْلٍ»»

Its text does not say these are the Prophet’s words ﷺ, so they are not framed in gold.

حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ شُجَاعٍ، نا أَبِي، نا بَكْرُ بْنُ خُنَيْسٍ، عَنْ ضِرَارٍ، يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ: «بَابٌ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ يَحْفَظُهُ الرَّجُلُ لِصَلَاحِ نَفْسِهِ، وَصَلَاحِ مَنْ بَعْدَهُ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ عِبَادَةِ حَوْلٍ»
