Abd Allah ibn Abd al-Rahman al-Darimi
««خَيْرُ الْأَصْحَابِ أَرْبَعَةٌ، وَخَيْرُ الْجُيُوشِ أَرْبَعَةُ آلَافٍ، وَخَيْرُ السَّرَايَا أَرْبَعُ مِائَةٍ، وَمَا بَلَغَ اثْنَي عَشَرَ أَلْفًا فَصَبَرُوا وَصَدَقُوا فَغُلِبُوا مِنْ قِلَّةٍ»»

٢٤٨٢ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّلْتِ، حَدَّثَنَا حِبَّانُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، وَعُقَيْلٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «خَيْرُ الْأَصْحَابِ أَرْبَعَةٌ، وَخَيْرُ الْجُيُوشِ أَرْبَعَةُ آلَافٍ، وَخَيْرُ السَّرَايَا أَرْبَعُ مِائَةٍ، وَمَا بَلَغَ اثْنَي عَشَرَ أَلْفًا فَصَبَرُوا وَصَدَقُوا فَغُلِبُوا مِنْ قِلَّةٍ» [تعليق المحقق] إسناده حسن
