«" مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ مُسْلِمٍ يَمُوتُ، يَشْهَدُ لَهُ ثَلَاثَةُ أَبْيَاتٍ مِنْ جِيرَانِهِ الْأَدْنَيْنَ بِخَيْرٍ، إِلَّا قَالَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: قَدْ قَبِلْتُ شَهَادَةَ عِبَادِي عَلَى مَا عَلِمُوا، وَغَفَرْتُ لَهُ مَا أَعْلَمُ "»

٨٩٨٩ - حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا مَهْدِيُّ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ، صَاحِبُ الزِّيَادِيِّ، عَنْ شَيْخٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَصْرَةِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَرْوِيهِ عَنْ رَبِّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، قَالَ (١) : " مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ مُسْلِمٍ يَمُوتُ، يَشْهَدُ لَهُ ثَلَاثَةُ أَبْيَاتٍ مِنْ جِيرَانِهِ الْأَدْنَيْنَ بِخَيْرٍ، إِلَّا قَالَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: قَدْ قَبِلْتُ شَهَادَةَ عِبَادِي عَلَى مَا عَلِمُوا، وَغَفَرْتُ لَهُ مَا أَعْلَمُ " (٢)
