«" لِأَنِّي رَأَيْتُهُ أَحَبَّ الْأَصْبَاغِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَدَّهِنُ وَيَصْبُغُ بِهِ ثِيَابَهُ "»

٦٠٩٦ - حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَصْبُغُ ثِيَابَهُ، وَيَدَّهِنُ بِالزَّعْفَرَانِ، فَقِيلَ لَهُ: لِمَ تَصْبُغُ هَذَا بِالزَّعْفَرَانِ؟ قَالَ: " لِأَنِّي رَأَيْتُهُ أَحَبَّ الْأَصْبَاغِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَدَّهِنُ وَيَصْبُغُ بِهِ ثِيَابَهُ " (٢)
