Ahmad ibn Hanbal

«" وَكَانَ قَتَادَةُ يَذْكُرُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ إِذَا سُئِلَ عَنْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةِ: {لَا تَسْأَلُوا عَنْ أَشْيَاءَ إِنْ تُبْدَ لَكُمْ تَسُؤْكُمْ} [المائدة: ١٠١] "»

Its text does not say these are the Prophet’s words ﷺ, so they are not framed in gold.

١٣٦٦٧ - حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ بِمِثْلِهِ، ⦗٢٤٧⦘ قَالَ: " وَكَانَ قَتَادَةُ يَذْكُرُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ إِذَا سُئِلَ عَنْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةِ: {لَا تَسْأَلُوا عَنْ أَشْيَاءَ إِنْ تُبْدَ لَكُمْ تَسُؤْكُمْ} [المائدة: ١٠١] " (١)
