Sunan Abi Dawud 4404

Abu Dawud al-Sijistani

«كُنْتُ مِنْ سَبْيِ بَنِي قُرَيْظَةَ، فَكَانُوا يَنْظُرُونَ فَمَنْ أَنْبَتَ الشَّعَرَ قُتِلَ، وَمَنْ لَمْ يُنْبِتْ لَمْ يُقْتَلْ، فَكُنْتُ فِيمَنْ لَمْ يُنْبِتْ.»

Its text does not say these are the Prophet’s words ﷺ, so they are not framed in gold.

٤٤٠٤ - حَدَّثَنَا ‌مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ ، أَنَا ‌سُفْيَانُ ، نَا ‌عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي ‌عَطِيَّةُ الْقُرَظِيُّ قَالَ: «كُنْتُ مِنْ سَبْيِ بَنِي قُرَيْظَةَ، فَكَانُوا يَنْظُرُونَ فَمَنْ أَنْبَتَ الشَّعَرَ قُتِلَ، وَمَنْ لَمْ يُنْبِتْ لَمْ يُقْتَلْ، فَكُنْتُ فِيمَنْ لَمْ يُنْبِتْ.»
